Back in November, the Ultimate Street Car Association was announced at SEMA as a national race series to oversee the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational and Qualifying. Those of you who picked up any tuner mag from the last six years will remember the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational, which played host to some incredible cars -- and demonstrated an overwhelming bias toward Camaros, it turns out.
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its AMG Vision Gran Turismo concept that will be featured in the upcoming Gran Turismo racing game. The concept features bulbous wheelarches and a long hood stretching back to the pushed-back cabin, designed to emphasize its aerodynamics, while the grille is a reinterpretation of the wide Mercedes-Benz sports car grille with the central star. It also features gullwing doors and side-view cameras, together with racing-inspired elements such as the release catches on the hood and fuel caps positioned on the roof.
With the 2013 Range Rover getting its detail reveal today at the Royal Ballet School in London we have the first video. We’ll have more detail later today (we expect) on exactly what Land Rover has achieved with the new Range Rover, especially the effect the huge weight loss has had on the performance of the 4.4 litre V8 diesel, the 5.0 litre Supercharged petrol and the new 3.0 litre diesel. But ahead of those crucial details on the Range Rover we’ve got some D roll footage of the Range Rover which shows us far more than we’ve had so far.
